Kelsey Britton, an Oklahoma native, has been passionately immersed in dance from an early age, receiving training from renowned master instructors in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Tap. Her talent and dedication led her to perform at the national level across the United States, including prestigious events like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Miss Dance of America and various collegiate and professional sports events. Kelsey’s formative years were marked by her participation in the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute for Modern Dance and her selection for the Oklahoma All-State Dance Team, where she earned the coveted All-American title each year from the National Dance Association. Her excellence was further recognized by Dance Masters of America, where she earned the titles of Teen Miss Dance and Miss Dance of Chapter 35.
Kelsey continued to refine her craft at Oklahoma City University, majoring in Dance Performance. During her time there, she was a proud member of the American Spirit Dance Company and the Spirit of Grace Liturgical Company. Certified through Dance Masters of America and Acrobatic Arts, Kelsey now shares her expertise as a sought-after adjudicator for competitions across the southern region. She specializes in competitive dance choreography and instruction, bringing her passion for the art form to children of all ages. Additionally, Kelsey is deeply involved in her community, volunteering as a coach for the local elementary schools, the public library programs and more.
Residing in Newcastle, Kelsey cherishes her life with her husband Dustin, their three daughters—Maddie, Macie, and Millie—and their beloved dog, Mack. Her love for dance is only matched by her commitment to nurturing the next generation of dancers.
Hannah Healey has been dancing literally since birth. Hannah grew up dancing in her mother's studio in Western Oklahoma, studying ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and acrobatics.
Through High School, She became an assistant teacher for Diva School of Dance, and later became the hip hop instructor, where she continues to teach today.
Hannah grew up in the competitive dance circuit and brought home many awards. She was named Petite Miss Dance and Teen Miss Dance of Chapter 35 in the Dance Masters of America organization. She was also named "Top Entertainer" - Talent on Parade's highest score of the competition, Celebrations Professional Promise Award, and many story teller awards with her stage presence and emotion.
Hannah has trained with world renown choreographers all across the country and has attended dance conventions in Washington D.C., Boston, Orlando, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City.
Currently, Hannah is enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she is studying Dance Education. Hannah is certified to teach Ballet and Jazz through Dance Masters of America. Hannah is excited to be apart of the Elevate family and bring her passion for dance to the kids at EDA, helping them grow in the art form.
Trinity Stafford was born and raised in Wyoming. She has been performing since she was five years old, her parents learned quick that soccer was not for her, but tutus were. After she graduated High School, she attending Western Wyoming Community College where she obtained her AFA in Dance and Musical Theatre.
Later in life she found herself dancing through Las Vegas, Austin, Texas and every space in between. She danced professionally for the Austin Lady Vipers Pom Team and trained with some of the best in the industry. In 2022, she graduated from Texas State University with her BFA in Dance Education. At TXST she found a deep love and passion for jazz dance, modern dance and dance education. She believes that dance is for everyone and any dancer can benefit from time spent in the studio space. Her philosophy in dance is deeply rooted in technique and dance history; everything matters and it's important to know the "why" behind it all.
Trinity has a creative outlook on dance and uses it as a "healing" outlet for her dancers and also herself. Trinity could not imagine her life without dance and is so grateful for who it's helped her become. Dance is her entire life and soul, she cannot wait to share her knowledge of the art with Elevate Dance Academy.
Born and raised in Broken Bow, OK, Madi Holmes is a Junior at the University of Oklahoma, where she is pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. While there she has been a two-year member of the OU Elite Dance Team, and also danced with the Bloom Professional Dance Company in Tuttle, OK.
Growing up in her mom’s dance studio, Stepping Out School of Dance, she’s had a lifelong passion for dance and tumbling. Being a competitive dancer, she’s excelled in contemporary, jazz, tap and lyrical, earning her the title of Dancer of the Year finalist for KAR, Celebration Talent, and Rainbow dance competition companies, along with many other outstanding awards. Madi has attended numerous conventions and master classes, along with also traveling to LA with the KAR Hollywood Dance Invitational.
Watching and working with her mom for years, she found a love for teaching and working with kids. She still enjoys coming home during the summer to teach and help out with studio business. Madi is so excited to have the opportunity to join the Elevate staff this year and hopes to instill the passion she has for dance in her students.
Jade Russell, a proud resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma, is a a graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma with a B.A.Ed in Dance Education. With a rich background spanning over 15 year and in the art from, Jade bring a dynamic blend of passion, experience, and expertise to the world of dance education.
During her time at UCO, she immersed herself training under the guidance of renowned instructors and guest artist alike. Notable figures such as Mike Esperanza, Bubba Carr, and Terrill Mitchell have all contributed to Jade's development, shaping her into the versatile and accomplished dancer she is today.
While in college, Jade was a member of UCO's Kaleidoscope Dance Company. Jade had the privilege of showcasing her talent on prestigious states, captivating audiences with her grace, precision, and emotive performances. This company gave her a deep appreciation for collaboration, creativity, and the transformative power of dance.
Driven by a desire to share her passion for dance with the next generation of artists, Jade embarked on a fulfilling career in dance education. With seven years of teaching experience under her belt, she has become a trusted mentor and guide to aspiring dancers in the competitive world of dance. Jade's dedication extends beyond the studio walls, as she has ent her talents to the choreography of numerous productions for Oklahoma City and Putnam City public schools.
As a teacher and choreographer, Jade Russell continues to inspire and empower students to unlock their full potential, fostering a love for dance that transcends boundaries and transforms lives.
Mrs. Marita has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She grew up in Austin Texas and became a competitive dancer at age 7, dancing on average 35-40 hours per week! Maritagraduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Biology!
While she attended TCU she danced on the competitive performance dance team for 2 years and later created a dance community service organization called TCU Tadpoles. Marita moved to Oklahoma in 2019 and now works for a Biotechnology company selling molecular diagnostic equipment! Mrs Maritahas been teaching dance for over 10 years and has experience working with dancers of all ages!
She leads with positive reinforcement and utilizes strength-based techniques and exercises to help students meet their dance goals! Mrs Marita has recently moved to Moore OK with her husband and their 2 German shepherds Sassy and Sig!
Jessica has been a competitive dancer since the age of three. She began her dance career dancing at local competitions where she was selected for many dance scholarships and won regional and national overall titles. As she got older she joined race dance company and had the opportunity to expand her performance skills and dance technique along side many talented dancers and choreographers.
Next Jessica began competing with the team Pulse Elite at the Worlds dance competition in Orlando, FL at Disney World. There she competed against teams from countries all across the world, placed in the top 12 teams, and got the opportunity to improve and showcase her technical skills as well as learn how to productively work in a team unit.
Next, she found her passion for choreography by competing in her home studio's annual choreography competition, where she won 1st place three consecutive years. She continued on choreographing competitive dances after that.
As an adult, Jessica began dancing professionally at Frontier City in their magic show and musicals. In her third year at Frontier City she began managing the shows for the theme park in the summer of 2020. She next joined the University of Central Oklahoma's dance team, Broncho Pom, where they won a double national title in collegiate hip hop and jazz. After her time dancing in college, Jessica was selected as an Oklahoma City Thunder girl for the OKC Thunder NBA team. Her favorite styles include jazz, pom, lyrical and contemporary.
Jessica has a passion for dance. It gives her the opportunity to build relationships with so many amazing people, as well as connect with children in such a special way. She hopes to pass on her passion for dance and push kids to work their hardest. Jessica is excited to teach others the sport she loves so much. Outside of dance Jessica recently graduated from MACU with a degree in mathematics and resides in Mustang, OK with her husband Shiloh and new baby Grady.
Cody Haddock knew from a young age that she wanted to dance. Her mom never saw any flyers for sports come home from school, only dance. In first grade, she got her wish to dance at a small studio in her hometown of Mannford, OK. It was hard for a studio to stay open in a small town, so she got to dance at several studios through the years.
She learned the most from Vicki and Karen’s Dance Studio in Cleveland, OK. Vicki gave her apassion for tap dance. She competed several years with tap solos. While in high school and college Cody taught dance lessons. She loved to see kids light up with a love for dance and get to shine on stage.
Cody might seem familiar. Her daughter Edy has been at Elevate Dance since season 1. She has been a backstage mom and encourager for all the amazing students here at Elevate. Cody lives in Newcastle with her
husband James and two kids, Truett and Edy. She has also been teaching preschoolers about Jesus at FBC Newcastle for many years.

Hannah and her team were 3x State champions and placed 3rd at the National competition in Florida. After high school, Hannah attended Oklahoma State University where she continued her dance career with Greek life shows as the head/choreographer director. Throughout her time as director, they placed top 3 and won 1st place along with best choreography. In March of 2024, Hannah began coaching for the Newcastle pom squad and started teaching in August. Her passions are dancing and serving students with disabilities. Hannah says "I am so thankful I have found Newcastle where I can pour into everything I love. I am so excited to begin this new journey at this magical place called Elevate."

In March of 2024, I accepted the position for the Newcastle pom squad and began teaching in August. My passions in life are dancing and serving students with disabilities. I am so thankful I have found Newcastle where I can pour into both. I am so excited to begin this new journey at this magical place called Elevate.
Miss Kynzli is currently a senior at Newcastle High School, where she has been a dedicated member of the pom team for the past two years. With five years of dance experience under her belt, Kynzli has been a key member of Elevate’s Company Team for three years.
This year, she stepped into the role of a teacher, leading Acro and Combo classes. Kynzli has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to teach and build meaningful relationships with her students.
Elevate has become like a second home to Kynzli, and she can’t imagine her life without it. Her love for dance, teaching, and the Elevate community has been what’s helped her grow into the person she is today.
After high school Kynzli plans on continuing to help teach classes at EDA, while she attends college. She hopes to give back to the younger generation of dancers and help them build a love for dance, the way her teachers have done for her!
Rylee Furnish is a junior at Newcastle High School with a lifelong passion for tumbling and cheerleading. She began tumbling at the age of six and started cheerleading at nine, building a strong foundation in both disciplines.
With two years of experience coaching gymnastics and tumbling, Rylee has honed her skills in spotting techniques and teaching young athletes. Her ability to connect with kids and foster their confidence and growth has made her a valued coach.
As the middle child in a family with two brothers, Rylee brings energy, adaptability, and enthusiasm to everything she does. She is excited to join the Elevate team as a cheer coach and looks forward to helping her students thrive both on and off the mat.
Ellie grew up in Hollidaysburg, a small town in Central Pennsylvania. She is currently a third-year member of the University of Oklahoma All-Girl Cheer team. As a Junior at the University of Oklahoma, she is a member of the Alpha Iota Chapter of Delta Gamma and plans on pursuing a Nursing degree with a minor in Health and Exercise Science.
Ellie began cheering at age 5 as a "Tiny" at a small All-Star gym in Pennsylvania. In 2011, she won her first UCA All-Star National Championship as a member of a Youth Level 2 team. She attended countless tumbling sessions at her All-Star Cheer Gym and worked tirelessly to progress her stunting and tumbling skills. Eventually, Ellie and her teammates won the prestigious D2 Summit Championship for 3 consecutive seasons in the Medium Junior Level 4, Large Senior Restricted Level 5, and Open Senior Level 5 divisions.
In addition, Ellie was a member of her high school Varsity Cheerleading Squad at Bishop McCort Catholic High School in Johnstown, PA where she and her teammates won UCA Nationals in the Super Varsity Division in 2019 and the Medium Division in 2021.
Ellie is excited to compete at UCA College Nationals in Orlando, FL this upcoming January with OU All-Girl.
Ellie is excited about the opportunity to help students to level up their tumbling and cheer skills. Throughout her years of All-Star and Varsity cheerleading, there were numerous coaches and mentors across several gyms that helped shape Ellie into the young woman and cheerleader that she is today. Their determination in watching Ellie achieve her goals was paramount to Ellie's success of making the University of Oklahoma's All-Girl Cheer team. Ellie hopes to be able to play a similar role as her coaches did for her and looks forward to helping students to ELEVATE their tumbling skills!
